EPISODE: Warzone [Pilot]

PRODUCTION NUMBER: 108

EPISODE ORDER NUMBER: 101

WRITER: J. Michael Straczynski

DIRECTOR Janet Greek

The pilot episode was one that had mixed feelings for me. While the feeling of it was great, it just felt too rushed and the storyline unremarkable.

The first half was the best, featuring an intriging view at the situation on Earth. (Something that we didn't see in "A Call To Arms") The second half felt all to well like another episode of "Star Trek." I understand though why JMS was forced to write the episode but it could have been better.

Thoughts on the Theme Song

The theme song was awsome. I loved it. While not like the theme song of Babylon 5 I still loved this new theme. I can hardly wait 'till the soundrack comes out. [Note: To see what part of the theme looks like check out the Pretitle page.]

Thoughts on the Cast

We saw mainly Gideon and Matheson. Gideon is cool, however I really enjoy Daniel Dae Kim's character. . I like his acting and he also brings a great presence to the show. Something that I believe Bruce Boxleitner brought to Babylon 5. Don't know much about the rest of the cast, stay tuned for the next review

My Rating

3.1 out of 5.0 CGI of Crusade

Very good. No complaints here.
